Our Last Month

Whoops! Writing weekly blog posts just kind of fell of my radar, so I'm going to try sharing what we've been doing in the last month!

We pulled out the baby's swing for a friend to borrow for their new little one - while we waited for them to come pick it up, Meghan's babies all got to have a chance to swing in the swing.

Meghan has been LOVING working on puzzles. She got this new one at Costco and couldn't even wait to carry it to the playroom - she sat down and worked it in the kitchen.

My mom made Meghan this shirt and she LOVES it!! She points to the submarine and says "cute!" over and over!

Meghan has started eating the same meal as Mommy and Daddy most nights at dinner. This night, we went to Chipotle. I asked her in the restaurant if she was going to eat some of mine. All the way home she said from the backseat "Eat some!" and then enthusiastically ate a good bit of mine!

She is all about school first thing in the morning. She enjoys working hard on these tasks and it's awesome to see how much she is learning from all of her work.

One day during roomtime, I checked on her in the monitor and she was stacking her Wedgits on her foot and building a tower that way - it was so funny!

She has been loving reading in her Bilibo - a good bit of time each day is spent reading to her babies in the Bilibo. She has also started calling her Tobbles "Little Bilibo" or "Baby Bilibo".

She has been working on hammering (she calls it drumming). She's gotten better at it since this picture!

Wearing a tutu as a hat and taking pictures....cause, why not?!?

I made her new, harder workboxes and she loved them! This girl LOVES working on school!

Daddy snapped this picture of her reading. She had been enjoying reading on the bottom step, but that was becoming a dangerous situation because of how many books would be left stacked around the bottom of the stairs. So, we put a pillow in her playroom and she happily sits there and reads.

She went to watch Uncle Caleb watch soccer two weekends ago - she did pretty well sitting bundled in my lap through the whole game and looked so cute in her rainbow monkey hat and matching cowl.

This past Sunday, we took the first picture of this pregnancy - 16 weeks and 3 days. This little one is certainly growing. Baby is also very wiggly and I get to feel him/her move a few times most days.

A picture with Meghan - to see how she grows as little brother or sister grows!

And then she wanted to model for a picture all by herself....

Another, harder, new workbox activity. Matching letter beads (with a capital on the front and lowercase on the back) to a paper with her name on it to match. She is doing great at this!!

And some videos from the past month:

Meghan has learned to do "So Big!"

She started self feeding messy foods with a spoon this month! This was a huge development as she overcame oral-motor delays and SPD to be able to demonstrate this skill.

We have watched some Christmas song videos and she loves this one from Straight No Chaser. The night before she had also been knee slapping during this song, but she hasn't repeated that...sadly.

We have been listening to "Wee Sing Bible Songs" and she loves the song Deep and Wide so much!
