SO TIRED!!
We were out of town last weekend for my brothers wedding, we've had family at our house since Tuesday, and Meghan has spent a lot of time with many family members. She has been a rockstar through it all; all smiles and giggles and a sweet little bundle of joy. All of this while cutting a tooth (we found that out today!). But she's tired....tonight we let her play a Fisher Price animal app on the Kindle before bedtime and this is what eventually happened.....needless to say she fell right to sleep when I laid her in bed.
Playing Kitchen
For Christmas Cole and I bought Meghan a toy kitchen. Between all of her grandparents, she received cooking dishes, eating dishes, food, table/chairs, an apron, oven mitt, and towels. She has been LOVING playing with her kitchen and tools!!
When I was working in the kitchen, preparing our family Christmas meal, she came out with a pot, some food, and a spoon. She cooked alongside of Mama until it was nap time!!
Everything these days is clapping - almost anyone and almost any action is deserving!!

I think it's safe to say that she is enjoying the kitchen play. I think the love will only continue as she learns more about how to use her imagination to cook!!

Meghan really figured the whole gift opening thing out by the end of the Christmas celebrations....

Christmas Stocking
We don't do Santa, but that doesn't keep this girl from having a stocking to open on Christmas morning!
And there is something about watching Daddy open bracelets, talk about how pretty they are, and put them on his baby girl that just warms a Mama's heart!!!
