Since she can now roll to her tummy, she can no longer be safely swaddled...so, we had to say "goodbye" to our beloved miracle blankets and pack them away in hopes of a little brother or sister to wear them.
To help her still feel secure, we are swaddling her in her "little girl" swaddle blankets that she hasn't worn in two months - to say that they fit a little bit different now would be an understatement :)
Newborn Meghan - fabric wraps around her body to her back, feet are in the bottom of the blanket
Two Month Old Meghan - fabric barely wraps far enough to velcro, feet are still in the bottom of the blanket
She seems to like the change - she now gets to sleep on her belly since she can get there on her own!
With her hands free she can also work on self soothing by sucking her hands - I have watched her do this several times on the video monitor.
Cute big girl!
