Sick Baby Girl

Meghan had a 24 hour virus yesterday - she ran a fever and was vomiting in the morning. Thankfully she only threw up twice (and it's super pathetic to see a toddler standing at the toilet throwing up!) and was able to start keeping clear liquids down mid-morning and was able to drink a little bit of milk and eat a little bit of applesauce before bed. She was also able to nap well and took 5.5 hours of naps!

She enjoyed laying on the floor and in Mama's lap and watching movies while she was awake - so many memories of being sick, curled up on the couch, and watching tv with my mom came back. It was a sweet time of cuddling with my usually busy, need to move girl!

Later in the afternoon, she was tired, but wanted to play:

I brought out her "toddler pillow" that I have purchased for her and she has not yet started using for her to lay on while she was laying on the floor. She cuddled up with a blanket, Charlotte, a paci, and her pillow and watched Frozen while Mama rubbed her back.

One Year Pictures

I took one year pictures of Meghan a few days ago. There were lots of blinks, blurry movements, and crawling off the backdrop, but I also did get some cute ones....so many Meghan expressions shown here....

(Can we be done now, Mama?)

Project Planning

Last weekend Cole was working on doing some math for some building projects we are working on. Miss Meghan enjoyed standing next to him and sharing her thoughts about the project.

The relationship that is developing between these two is just so adorable!!

She's a Toddler

This girl loves playing with balls! She also loves her zebra pants :)

She also loves to pull the towels out of the drawers and leave them all over the kitchen while I am making dinner!

Toddler Problems: Mama is cleaning up from some spring cleaning/projecting and my pacifier dropped to the ground. Mama only lets me have my pacifier to get my mouth ready for a bottle and when sleeping. I love my pacifier. I'm hungry and I want to eat this puff. If I take my pacifier out, Mama will likely pick it up and it'll be back to the old pacifier rules. But I want that puff.......
She eventually abandoned the puff in favor of the pacifier!

One Man Kitchen Band

A few weeks ago Papa Scott was in town and trying to convince Meghan to beat on her pots and pans. She has fully figured the skill out now :) She likes experimenting with different sounds - the sound of a plastic plate, then the sound of the pot, then the sound of the plastic plate, then the sound of the pot....over and over and over. She makes a wonderful one-man-band!

Young McMeghan

Miss Meghan loves the farm. She is loving all of the sounds that it makes and putting her animals in and out of the corrals. She also loves singing "Young McMeghan" instead of "Old McDonald". :)

Mega Blocks!!

We don't get them out everyday....but some days, especially when it's cold and grey....we pull out the mega blocks. She doesn't know how to build with them yet, but she loves to spread them around, pile them up, and put them in containers!
